The scope of the study includes an exploration of Al-Ghazali’s foundational principles on moral education, focusing on his works such as Ihya’ Ulum al-Din and Bidayat al-Hidayah, and a critical analysis of their applicability in addressing current educational challenges. The primary aim of this research is to identify key elements of Al-Ghazali's moral education framework and evaluate their compatibility with modern educational paradigms to provide a comprehensive understanding of their potential contribution to contemporary character education. A qualitative research methodology was employed, utilizing a library research approach to collect and analyze data from primary and secondary sources.
